It is right there

     A girl is running to me. I know her, she was a student in my grade, but I have not seen her for quite a long time. Everyone in our school is saying that there are some mental illnesses with this girl. She was a normal girl in the school that has a “B” for her grade but after a normal weekend, she suddenly became very strange.
 She asks people if it is still following her but nobody know what “it” is, if people ask what “it” is she runs away with a panic look and nonsense sounds.
       Now she is running to me on the street, this is the first time I have seen her this month. She looks even stranger than the last time I saw her. Everyone sees her dodges away with despise eyes, she seems so helpless and lifeless, she runs and she cries, she yells some words and she screams.
       While I am recalling stuff I know about her, she runs to me. She seems so ferocious and scary that I can’t control myself to get away from her as if she is pestilence. I’m trying to speed up myself, but I can still hear her voice and messed steps that let me know she is following me. I don’t know if she knows me or not, maybe she is following me because I look familiar to her. 
       I run into a dark alleyway that I have to go through if I want to get to my school. I’m pretty sure that I know this little pathway very well, but run from the sunshine into a dark alleyway makes me blind for a few seconds. In peacetime, I would slow down and wait until my eyes work again, but today I’m running because I don’t want that crazy girl to catch me and ask me crazy questions. Running in darkness is not a good choice, I feel like my feet just kicked something and I fall down. 
       I can hear that the crazy girl is running nearby and I try to force myself to stand up to get away from her, but I am too late. She is not a beast that will eat me, she is not that scary. I say to myself. While my eyes are getting familiar with the darkness her screams lessen. I open my eyes and I see the girl standing right in front of me and staring at me. I had never looked at the girl this closely before. She is actually a pretty girl except for the messed hair and red eyes. 
       While we are staring at each other, she calms down and speaks. “I know you.” I look at her eyes and for some reason, I see something named beg. “You won’t lie to me, right?” I can see that tears falling down her cheeks, I stand up and some strange emotion makes me nod my head. She seems very glad and she speaks again: “Can you tell me, is it still following me?” I look at her eyes again, I’m not sure if she is still sober or not. Her eyes are very clear and sincere. I feel like my heart calm down with her eyes. I look around and nothing is around her. “No.” I answer her. She turns her head back and seems surprised: “Really?! It’s gone! It’s gone!” She laughs and cheers,she hugs me and runs like a child who has just received a new toy and runs away from the alleyway. 

Now I’m standing alone in the alley. I’m confused by her question. What does she mean by “it”?
      Suddenly, I want to see what “it” is and I turn my head back to see if anything is here. When I do that I feel that there is something right behind me but I can’t see it because it’s directly behind me. I start to panic now, I tried again I still can’t see anything, but I know that it is right there!
