With the rapid development of the IT industry, smart phones and social media have become an indispensable part of people’s lives. China, obviously, has an extraordinary fascinating social media landscape, which I think is very unique.

While the rest of the world is using analogous online social system, China has formed its own. For example, instead of Facebook and Instagram, we have Wechat and Weibo for chatting and posting pictures online. Not only people who live in China use these applications and websites, but also overseas Chinese people, who would like to contact their friends and family and share their life.

I have noticed that these applications and websites are dependent, and connected usually. You can log in almost every website with the same account. The whole Chinese online system is really complete and well-organized. With the superior techniques, application developers have advanced various functions of each application so that we can enjoy more.We can proudly say that we have the most convenient way to solve our daily needs ,as all those social networking platforms are specially designed for Chinese market.

The increasingly high internet penetration rate is another reason for such a phenomenon. China has the largest population in the world, and that is the very base of a big user community. The large population also brings numerous kinds of requirements. In order to satisfy them, young IT workers, who grow up in China and know well about how our Chinese society works, consider what people actually want and work out a series of applications and websites which are most suitable to Chinese people.

But those mentioned above are not the most important reason for this  one-of–a-kind system. How can Chinese online system work so well without any cross talking with the others? With the extremely rapid development of our society, every industry, department, individual and group need to receive and send several kinds of liberal, natural and social information quickly and clearly. It creates a high-level unprecedented communication that China needs. China’s national strength and technical innovation are rising, and it makes the relative cohesion of our country greatly enhanced. The power of the system is our national cohesion.
