Making   Every   Day  Earth  Day

  It  is  universally  acknowledged  that April 22nd is Earth Day.On this day, people will organize various activities to remind themselves to take good care of the earth. But only on this day should we pay attention to the earth? Of course the answer  is " No" .It is in life every day that we should be concerned  with   the earth.

  The earth is our home ,which provides us necessary environment  and  space  living. She was a beautiful blue planet in  the  past. But with the development of human society, our earth suffered great damage. Especially in modern times, the development of the industry, the rapid growth of the population, have brought a lot of  pressure to the earth. In the past 27 years, the global forest has shrunk by 1 million 300 thousand square kilometers. At the same time,  the water  is also polluted.  1995 World Bank 's report pointed that 80 countries accounted for 40% of the world's population is facing a water crisis, about 1 billion people in developing countries don't have access to clean water. The problem of global warming, resources shortage and otherissues are threatening the future of mankind.

 Fortunately, people have recognized the seriousness of the environmental problems .In 2002, people put forward "3R " principle on the development."3R" means reduce, reuse and recycle.In order to do it ,we need to reduce waste emissions in production and daily life.Many resources can be reused ,such as water .Washed water can be used to flush toilets.So precious is the water that we can't afford to waste it.In recent years, 3R have been transformed into 4R by adding "recovery".Recovery means recycling the available energy.For example, garbage sorting will recycle the available materials.Nowadays,many countries are calling on citizens to practice the principle of 4R. There is no denying that it is very beneficial to our earth.  

 As a member of the earth, we should take actions to protect our home——the earth.Comparing every day to the Earth Day.It will be fine as long as we insist on protecting and loving it every day.
